In the world we are living in, we are glued to our devices. When we want to have food, groceries, or anything we could imagine, just a few taps on our phone, and we have it. Want to check the time? Just look at your phone. How about that meeting you need to remember? There is no need for bulky planners, you can just place them in your phone, and you’re good to go. You can even have an alarm to help you remember your tasks.

Smartphones are the easiest way to have access outside our bedroom. Most messages rarely come from our text messages. We would usually find them on social media platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, and even Instagram. Usually, there are messages we cannot respond to immediately before going to bed. That’s why we have this tendency to react to them as soon as we wake up. This is especially true in terms of work-related messages.

Other than messages, we would usually go down the rabbit hole of social media. You wake up early and think that you have some time to spend on social media. Suddenly, an hour has passed by, and you’re already running late. It is best to avoid social media in the morning. Remember that newsfeed will still be there later in the day or even during your lunch break. Focus on what you plan for the day. A tweet or a post can easily sabotage your mood, so you need to protect that good vibe you get from waking up on time at all costs.
